There is something magnetic and magical about different people from all colourful walks of life, coming together and knowing how to have a good time. Jamming along to awesome music, getting lost in a creative atmosphere and gazing at the fantastic fashion culture. This is exactly what happened at Basha Uhuru 2019.
Basha Uhuru is known for its influence in the creative industry. For capturing all the important elements of art, music and practical skills, plus engagement through inspirational workshops and entrepreneurial support programmes for young creatives. Not forgetting the different talented individuals they involved in the “Meet The Speakers” at the creative summit.
Fun was also had at Basha Uhuru with a lit concert which featured artists such as Langa Mavuso, Riky Rick, Msaki, The Brother Moves on and many other lovely musicians, who literally bought Con Hill down! Riky Rick had the crowd going crazy, with some of the verses that he dropped. They surely were never ready!
The fashion was also on fleek and we could not help but admire the different hairstyles that were represented there! From pink and blue braids to afro wigs, bald bold look to beautifully crafted beaded cornrows. Individualism was definitely the theme for this fest and we were there for all the creative goodness that was delivered. What more could we have asked for besides? Art exhibitions, important panel discussions and a whole lot of saucy fun!
